The stay was highlighted by a beautifully decorated room, featuring ample tea-making facilities, which made for a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring. Breakfast stood out with freshly prepared items, including a delightful homemade pastry that complemented the fresh fruit selection perfectly. The tight parking situation could be frustrating at times, and the charming exterior didn't quite carry through to some chilly room temperatures upon arrival. But the exceptional attention from the host made it all worthwhile.

The ambiance at Lavender Lodge was lovely, with quaint decor that felt cozy and homely. While there were some windows overlooking neighboring buildings, the garden view made up for it. The host was inviting, providing excellent attention to detail, but the five-minute walk to shops offered varied dining options.
